Who counts as a "user"?

A user is anyone in your GitHub organization who logs in to PullApprove.
This includes admins, reviewers, PR authors, or people using the reporting features.

Which open source projects qualify for a free plan?

It depends. We're a small company, so if your project is backed by a big company that pays
people to work on the open-source project, then we ask you to pay us too. When in doubt, just ask.

Is a credit card required for the trial?

Cards are required, but won't be charged until the trial is over.
So you can use any card you have access to.
If you don't have any cards you can use, install PullApprove on your personal (User, not Organization) account which does not require a credit card.
